How to see all your SevenRooms reservations in one place
Forward each SevenRooms confirmation email to a single tracker. CityNoms gives you a private address, reads the restaurant, date, time and party size from each email, and keeps every SevenRooms booking in one list next to your Resy, OpenTable and Tock tables.

Why SevenRooms bookings are hard to keep track of
SevenRooms is a booking system built for restaurants. It is widely used by restaurants in London and by hotel and restaurant groups, and you will meet it in plenty of other cities too. When you book through it, you usually do so on the restaurant's own website, not in a SevenRooms app of your own.
That is fine on the night you book. It is less fine three weeks later. Each SevenRooms booking tends to live in a single confirmation email, sent under the restaurant's name, with a link to view or change it. There is usually no shared list where every table you hold shows up together. A hotel dinner on Friday and a group lunch on Tuesday are two separate emails in two separate threads, and nothing connects them to the Resy or OpenTable bookings you made that same week.
So the problem is not booking. It is remembering. The answer is to put every confirmation in one place the moment it arrives.
The simple fix: forward the confirmation once
When you sign up for CityNoms, you get a private address that looks like yourcode@citynoms.com. Anything you send there lands in your CityNoms list, and only in yours.
- Open the SevenRooms confirmation in your inbox.
- Hit Forward and send it to your CityNoms address.
- Open CityNoms. The booking is in your list with the restaurant, date, time, party size and confirmation number filled in, tagged SevenRooms.
That is the whole setup if you book now and then. It works from any email app, on a phone or a computer, and there is nothing to install.
Let SevenRooms emails forward themselves
If you eat out often, set a rule once so you never have to remember. SevenRooms confirmations are typically sent from a sevenrooms.com address, even when the sender name is the restaurant. That makes them easy to catch with a filter.
In Gmail, add your CityNoms address as a forwarding address, confirm it, then create a filter. In the From field, paste:
resy.com OR opentable.com OR exploretock.com OR sevenrooms.com
Choose "Forward it to" and pick your CityNoms address. That one filter catches SevenRooms along with the other three big platforms, so you only set it up once. The Gmail auto-forward guide walks through every screen, including the confirmation step. Outlook and iCloud Mail have similar rules if you use those instead.
What CityNoms reads, and what it leaves alone
CityNoms reads the details that matter on the night: the restaurant, the date, the time, the party size and the confirmation number. If something comes through wrong, tap the card and fix it. You can also delete a booking you no longer need.
CityNoms never connects to your inbox. It only sees the emails you forward. It also does not book, change or cancel anything with SevenRooms or the restaurant. If you need to move a table, use the link in the original confirmation email, then update or delete the card in CityNoms so your list stays accurate.
When a booking comes through a hotel or group
Hotel restaurants and restaurant groups often run several dining rooms on one SevenRooms account. The confirmation may arrive under the group's name, or the hotel's, rather than the name of the room you booked. If the card in CityNoms shows the group name, tap it and change the restaurant name to the one you will actually walk into. It takes a second, and it makes the reminder the day before much clearer.
The same goes for bookings with extra detail, like a set menu, a private room or a request for a terrace table. CityNoms keeps the core details: restaurant, date, time, party size and confirmation number. The finer points stay in the original email. If the restaurant sends an updated confirmation after a change, forward that one too, then delete the older card so you only see the booking as it stands now.
A few SevenRooms habits worth keeping
- Keep the original email. It holds the restaurant's own link to manage the booking, plus any deposit or cancellation terms.
- Forward the odd ones by hand. Some restaurants send their own message rather than one from sevenrooms.com. CityNoms saves those the same way.
- Glance at the list before a busy week. With SevenRooms, Resy and OpenTable tables side by side, clashes are easy to spot.
The day before each booking, CityNoms sends one quiet reminder with where, when and for how many. That is often the moment a three-week-old hotel dinner comes back into focus.
CityNoms compared with checking each app
- Where bookings live. Checking each app: SevenRooms bookings sit in separate emails, apart from your Resy and OpenTable tables. With CityNoms: every forwarded booking, from any platform, in one list sorted by date.
- Remembering. Checking each app: you have to think to look. With CityNoms: one quiet reminder arrives the day before.
- Inbox access. Neither needs it. CityNoms only sees the confirmations you forward.
- Changes and cancellations. Either way, these happen with the restaurant through the link in your SevenRooms email.
