About CityNoms
A calm place for every table.
CityNoms keeps every restaurant reservation you have booked in one quiet list. Forward a confirmation from Resy, OpenTable, Tock, or SevenRooms, and it files itself, with a reminder the day before each booking.
Why we built it
The reservation lives in a different app every time.
The information was never missing. It was just never in one place.
If you eat out in a city like New York, your reservations are scattered. One booking is on Resy. The next is on OpenTable. A tasting menu ticket is on Tock. The rest are buried in confirmation emails and texts from the restaurant. We wanted one calm place that holds every table you have booked, so the details are there when you need them.
We talked to people who go out four nights a week. The pattern was always the same: a frantic search on the way to dinner, the wrong restaurant name typed into the wrong app, a confirmation number always in the next folder over. People did not need another booking platform. They needed a layer above all of them.
How it works
Set it up once. Then never think about it.
No inbox access, no app store, no setup beyond a one-time forwarding rule.
Forward once
You get a private CityNoms address when you sign up. Forward a confirmation to it, or set a one-time auto-forward rule in your email so future ones go automatically.
We extract, not surveil
CityNoms reads the restaurant, date, time, and party size from the forwarded message. It never connects to your inbox.
One quiet list
Your upcoming tables appear in order. A short reminder lands the day before. Past dinners stay archived for whenever you want to remember.
Privacy first
No inbox access. Forwarded mail only.
Most "smart" inbox products live or die on broad inbox permissions. CityNoms is built the opposite way. You point the firehose. We just hold the bucket.
No Gmail API, no OAuth
We never asked for read access to your mailbox. The only emails we see are the ones you forward to your CityNoms address. There is no scope to revoke later.
You control the firehose
You decide what reaches CityNoms. A Resy confirmation. An OpenTable booking. A SevenRooms link from a restaurant. The rest of your inbox is invisible to us.
Delete and it is gone
Sign out, your data goes with you. We do not sell reservations. We do not build a dining graph for advertisers. We do not have one.
Who it is for
People with full calendars.
The four-nights-a-week diner
If you book on three platforms in a week, CityNoms is a relief. One list, in order. No more "what was the time" texts.
Couples and groups
The person doing the booking is rarely the person who remembers the time. CityNoms ends the search.
Visitors with a week of dinners
A long weekend, six restaurants, six confirmation emails. CityNoms makes the trip itinerary read like one thing.
